hello 2nd trimester

thank you God!

i have passed my 1st trimester without much havoc :) apart from the morning sickness which gratefully came only at night, the fatigue at the end of the day, and the heartburn, everything went alright. we're now into the 2nd trimester and i hope everything will go well too.

we went for a check-up last week and everything looked good. again, little baby was moving his legs and arms every which way. the nuchal scan came out normal --phew. thats 85% confirmation that the baby has no down syndrome (touchwood). so we opted not to go for the blood test.

since everything looks ok, i am now off duphaston yippee! and i only have to see the doctor once a month.

we've been getting ethan used to the idea of having another baby. so every now and then, i'll ask him "ethan, wheres baby?" and he'll point to my tummy "there baby!" so funny... one day we were skyping with my mom and as soon as her face came on the screen ethan went "grandma, there baby!!" while pointing to my tummy :)

so, heres to a healthy 2nd trimester. wish me luck!

a friend's sad news

just heard of a friend's loss. she was about 3-4months pregnant --like me.

so sad.
